We are a small group of Toronto based community enthusiasts that love building and making. We do this because we love creating tools for people to find the adult playfulness and creative joy that comes from exploring your authentic self <3

In 2018 at a local sex positive maker space, Alex made the first Deepthroat Trainer as a hobby project mixing their interests in kink, technology, and measurement/data collection.

After a few people in the local Toronto community asked for one to try, Alex thought it would be rewarding to share the project with more people, and made a batch of 30 and listed it on Etsy, which was our home until they banned sex toys.

Around the same time (during the pandemic) we lost our in person maker space, and Alex looked to see if they could bring that same magic into an online space (now the Kinky Makers Dicord). They started work on an open source sex machine, and shared it as the first project to try and bring people into that new community.

We want to help people be playful, have intimate experiences that validate and affirm them, and connect deeply with other humans.

The company exists to help us reach more people, make more tools for the community, and generally do more good.
